Biography: Stephanie "Steph" Davis (born November 4, 1973) is an American climber, Base Jumper, and Wingsuit Flyer. It is one of the main climbers in the world, having completed some of the most difficult routes in the world. She climbed solo free up to 5.11a, and was the first woman to resomb all the peaks of the Fitzroy chain in Patagonia, the second woman to freely climb El Capitan in one day, the first woman to freely climb the face of Salathė on El Capitan, the first woman in free solo on the long peaks in Colorado, and the first woman to succeed in Torre Egger. Steph Davis was married to his Cordée and Basejumper partners, successively, Dean Potter then Mario Richard (who both died in their practice). Steph is also a blogger who writes on her interests in climbing, the basic jump, yoga and veganism.
