Biography: Matīss Kaža is a Latvian director, writer and producer. He holds a degree in Film & TV from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Despite his young age, Matiss has extensive experience working in both documentary and fiction, focusing on character studies in his documentary work, and on experimental single-take experiments, genre-blending and arthouse drama in fiction.
