Biography: Alan Myers was the third and best known drummer of the new wave band Devo, having joined the band less than a year after its founding and prior to the release of their first album. Myers remained with the band for over 10 years and performed on all of their best-known releases. He died of brain cancer in 2013 at the age of 58.
