Biography: Ayar Blasco (Argentina, 1975) is the creator of Mercano el Marciano alongside Juan Antín. Together, they made the feature film Mercano the Martian (2001). As a solo director, he made The Sun (2012) and Lava (2019, 34th Festival). He makes animation under the pseudonym Chimiboga.
