Biography: Imants Skrastiņš (born April 12, 1941, in Skulte, Latvia – died September 9, 2019, in Riga) was a Latvian stage, film, and radio actor, as well as a singer. He was a long-time member of the Latvian National Theatre, appeared in numerous radio plays, and gained popularity performing songs by composer Raimonds Pauls. For his contribution to Latvian culture, he received the Order of the Three Stars and the title of People's Artist.
