Biography: Janet Claire Mahoney (born 9 September 1953), known professionally as Janet Fielding, is an Australian actress best known for her role as Tegan Jovanka in the British television series Doctor Who. She was a regular cast member from 1981 to 1984, alongside both Tom Baker and Peter Davison, and reprised the role some times in subsequent decades, both on Doctor Who and its spin-off audiodramas from Big Finish Productions.
