Biography: John Frawley (18 August 1929 – 3 March 1999) was an Australian actor with a number of stage television and film credits to his name. Frawley started his professional career in 1948 in a film role and worked in theatre from 1955, including a lengthy tour of Twelfth Night, later he acted in King Lear and after a television career in the United Kingdom during the 1960s, which included episodes of The Prisoner and The Avengers, Frawley appeared mainly in Australian films during the 1970s. He returned to television in the 1980s and 1990s, including appearances in Prisoner (a.k.a. Prisoner: Cell Block H) and Brides of Christ.
