Biography: Viacheslav "Slava" Fetisov is a Russian former professional ice hockey defenceman, coach, politician and sports official, and is considered one of the greatest Soviet players ever. He won 2 Olympic gold medals and 7 world championships with the Soviet national hockey team, and 2 Stanley Cups with the Detroit Red Wings. He is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
