Biography: Irma Seikkula (May 14, 1914 – July 8, 2001) was a Finnish film, theatre and television actress whose career lasted for 60 years. She was one of the leading actresses during the early years of the golden age of Finnish cinema (late 1930s – early 1940s). She usually played serious parts, and the main characteristics of her characters were sensitivity and authenticity. Her most famous role was the title lead in Juurakon Hulda (1937).
