Biography: He was born in Agri and immigrated to Ankara with his family in 1971. He started his professional music career in 1976 at TRT Ankara Radio. He started to be tried for communism propaganda and separatism charges because of his Kurdish love song "Ahmedo Roni", which he sang in 1979. While working as a sound artist, he was dismissed and incapacitated. after the September 12 coup and went abroad to Germany to exit the album Ahmedou Roni is in yerlesti.1991, Aric was the first Kurdish cassette exit in Turkey. The film Beko's Folklore, which he directed, wrote and starred in 1992, was recorded as the first Kurdish film in the history of cinema.
