Biography: Louise Bourque is an Acadian French Canadian filmmaker who recently relocated to Montreal after 25 years of absence, twenty of which were spent in the United-States where she made films and taught cinema. Over the years, her films have been screened in some fifty countries across five continents. Bourque has received numerous awards and honors for her work and she has been the recipient of many prestigious grants.
