Biography: Harry Baird was a Guyanese-born British actor who came to prominence in the 1960s, appearing in more than 36 films throughout his career including several racially motivated dramas and spaghetti westerns. His career was cut short in the mid 70s when glaucoma ultimately left him blind. He died of cancer in London in 2005, aged 73.
