Biography: Stieg Trenter, born Stig Ivar Johansson, was a Swedish journalist and crime writer. He picked up the name Trenter from E.C. Bentleys "Trent's last case". The main characters in most of Stiege Trenter's books are press photographer Harry Friberg and D.I. Vesper Johnson, and the action often takes place in Stockholm.
