Biography: Dame Jane Morris Goodall DBE (born Valerie Jane Morris-Goodall, 3 April 1934 – 1 October 2025), formerly Baroness Jane van Lawick-Goodall, was an English primatologist and anthropologist. Considered to be the world's foremost expert on chimpanzees, Goodall was best known for her 55+ year study of wild chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania.
