She graduated from Hunan Normal University in 2018 with a degree in Journalism and Communications, and her rise to fame began shortly after when a photographer's snapshot of her online led to a casting opportunity on the reality show Summer Sweetie. Shen made her acting debut in Autumn Harvest Uprising, but her breakout role came in 2018 with Meteor Garden, a reboot of the iconic Taiwanese series, where she portrayed Dong Shancai. The role earned her the Baidu Entertainment Award for Character of the Year and cemented her place among China’s emerging television stars.
