Biography: Masanobu Fuchi is a veteran Japanese wrestler who has been with All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) since his debut in 1974. He is best known for holding the record for the longest World Junior Heavyweight Championship reign at 1,309 days. Fuchi was a key figure in AJPW's junior heavyweight division, winning the title five times. After a period as a freelancer starting in 2009, he returned to AJPW in 2013 as both a director, co-booker, and active wrestler. Throughout his career, Fuchi also wrestled in North America, winning the AWA Tag Team Championship in Memphis with Atsushi Onita in the 1980s. In 2016, he regained the All Asia Tag Team Championship, 35 years after his last win in that category. Despite his age, he continues to wrestle actively at 70 years old, making him one of the longest-tenured and most respected wrestlers in AJPW.
