Biography: Philip Whitman Elverum (born May 26, 1978) is an American musician, best known for his musical projects the Microphones and Mount Eerie. Elverum has also experimented with filmmaking, producing background visuals for his shows (released as a limited-edition DVD entitled Fog Movies) and promotional videos for several Mount Eerie songs. He has stated that he does wish to one day make movies, viewing them as the "ultimate art form" and as such the culmination of his creativity.
