Biography: Keavan J. Yazdani is a contemporary visual artist & director from Toronto, Canada. Born to a Baha’i Persian father and a catholic Filipino mother, influence from both of these cultures & religions were prevalent in his youth, which left a lasting impact on his approach to creating. His multidisciplinary art explores themes of the psyche, identity, culture, and migration. He has done creative direction for GRAMMY award-winning artist, Daniel Caesar. He has also worked with such artists as Koffee, H.E.R, Brandy, Sean Leon, River Tiber & Justin Bieber. Today, Keavan continues to operate between Manila & Toronto. Aiming to create thought-provoking works through, JOAQUINA WORLD (named after his Lola; grandmother in Tagalog), a creative häus for his design, film & art endeavours. Keavan is a self-taught multidisciplinary, with emphasize on visual arts and film. A DIARY OF AN UNSTABLE MIND is Keavan’s first independent short film.
