Biography: Claude Charron is a former CEGEP teacher, media personality and, most significantly, former Parti Québécois politician and Member of the l'Assemblée nationale. First elected in 1970 at the age of 23, he was the youngest MNA in Québec history. He served for 11 years, was a government minister, and was instrumental during the 1980 referendum campaign.
