Biography: Nikki Renée Daniels is an acclaimed Broadway actress and concert soloist. She recently finished a run as Lady Larken in the Broadway revival of Once Upon a Mattress. You may have seen Nikki featured in the PBS concert specials: Broadway’s Brightest Lights and Black Broadway: A Proud History, a Limitless Future. She played Eve/Mama Noah in Children of Eden at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center, Angelica Schuyler in the Chicago company of Hamilton, and Jenny in the Tony-Award winning Broadway revival of Company. She has done 12 Broadway shows, including The Book of Mormon (Nabulungi), The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess (Clara) Les Misérables (Fantine), Anything Goes, Promises Promises and Lestat. Nikki played Martha Jefferson in 1776 at Encores, and Rose Lennox in The Secret Garden at David Geffen Hall. She made her New York City Opera debut as Clara in Porgy and Bess. Nikki’s regional credits include Emmie in Caroline or Change at the Guthrie; Sarah in Ragtime at North Shore Music Theater; Belle in Beauty and the Beast at Sacramento Music Circus and Hope in Anything Goes at Williamstown Theater Festival. She has been seen on TV in “Billions,” “The Equalizer,” “Madam Secretary” and “The Sound of Music: Live.” She was also a part of the Vocal Ensemble in the blockbuster film Wicked. Nikki has performed as a soloist with symphony orchestras across the country, around the world, and at Carnegie Hall.
