Biography: Henriëtte 'Heintje' Davids was a Dutch actress and variety artist. She was the sister of Louis Davids, with whom she often performed. Up to this day the Dutch refer to the phenomenon of a star giving multiple 'farewell tours' -- yet always returning to the stage -- as the 'Heintje Davids-effect'.
