Biography: Askar Saypulaevich Askarov is a Russian mixed martial artist and freestyle wrestler. He currently competes in the Flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). A professional mixed martial artist since 2013, Askarov previously competed in Absolute Championship Berkut (ACB), where he was won the ACB Flyweight Championship and 2017 Summer Deaflympics 61 kg freestyle wrestling gold medalist. As of July 31, 2020, he is #3 in the UFC flyweight rankings.
