Biography: Professor of New Testament – Author ‘Miracles: The Credibility of the New Testament Accounts’ Keener is the F. M. and Ada Thompson Professor of Biblical Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary. He is especially known for his award-winning, popular-level IVP Bible Background Commentary: New Testament (1993) and many other commentaries that place the New Testament in its early Jewish and Greco-Roman settings. Keener has authored 25 books, more than a million of which are in circulation. He has published more than 70 academic articles and over 170 popular ones.
