Biography: Luc da Silveira is a Brazilian filmmaker and producer whose works have been selected for festivals such as Olhar de Cinema, the SESC Film Showcase, Circuito Penedo, CINE OP – Ouro Preto Film Festival, among others. His films have screened at more than 70 festivals around the world and have won over 10 awards. He also works in cultural marketing and has been selected for training programs such as Berlinale Talents Rio, Torino Film Lab Extended, and Vitrine Lab. At the Cultural Foundation of Curitiba, where he was a communications intern, he covered various cultural events. Since 2023, he has been a partner at Beija Flor Filmes. He has worked on short films such as Quando Eu For Grande? (Gramado Film Festival, Festival do Rio) and A Casa Amarela (Gramado Film Festival, Torino Film Festival, FESTin), as a production assistant, behind-the-scenes producer, and social media manager, as well as on feature films such as Casa Izabel (CINE PE, Olhar de Cinema, Frameline) and Alice Júnior Férias de Verão (currently in post-production). Among other roles, he is also the founder and curator of Festival Ressaca, a Film and Audiovisual student at UNESPAR, and communications director at AVEC – the Video and Cinema Association of Paraná. He is addicted to ice cream and the father of three cats.
