Biography: Ahsabul Yamin is an emerging Bangladeshi filmmaker whose work blends personal memory with sharp social observation. Active as a director, writer, editor, and actor, his films have screened internationally across Rotterdam, Fantasia, Sitges, SXSW London, Jogja NETPAC, Busan ISFF, Jeonju IFF, New York Asian Film Festival, and Bengaluru IFF. His short Dyspepsia (by Salty Biscuits) was selected for Slamdance Film Festival. Yamin’s earlier films, including Bish Pipra and Jaay Jaay Din, have screened widely and received several awards. He is currently developing his debut feature documentary Sroter Gaan, selected for Dhaka DocLab, DocEdge Kolkata and Kathmandu Doclab.
