Biography: Gerry Dee is a Canadian actor, comedian, and former teacher known for his sharp observational humor and his long-running CBC series Mr. D, which aired from 2012 to 2018 and drew from his years in the classroom. He has appeared as Templeton Dudge on FOX’s Animal Control (2023) and has released several stand-up specials, including No Reading Ahead, Life After Teaching, Let’s Be Honest, and his 2025 special Funny You Should Say That. He also hosts Family Feud Canada and remains one of the country’s most recognizable comedic voices.
