Biography: João Pedro Tavares (February 4th, 2005) is a Brazilian director and screenwriter from Rio de Janeiro. A film student at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio), he is still in the early stages of his career, having already directed a handful of short films. His work ranges from documentary to horror to romance, reflecting his passion for experimentation and his drive to challenge traditional cinematic forms. In his films, he mostly pursues to show the limits of human desires.
