Vestfalya Wilhems Universitesi Münster tıp fakültesinde üç yıl okuduktan sonra Hagen Universitesi'nde psikoloji ve felsefe bölümünden mezun oldu. 2000 yılında profesyonel modellik kariyerine başladı.
