Biography: Laurence Arcadias is a French-born animator, director and writter working in the United States. She holds a Diplôme supérieur d’expression plastique (DNSEP) in Animation from the Institut d'arts visuels (IAV) in Orléans, France. In 1985, she co-founded the French short film production company Amorce films. She has taught at the City College of San Francisco, the California College of Arts and Crafts, the University of California, Berkeley, the San Francisco Art Institute, the San Francisco Academy of Art University and the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA).
