Biography: Hugh William Paddick was an English stage, screen, televison and radio actor. His most famous role was in the 1960s BBC radio series "Round the Horne", in the high-camp "Julian and Sandy" sketeches, in which he played Julian, to Kenneth Williams' Sandy. Paddick and Williams were largely responsible for introducing the gay underground language "polari" to the British public.
