Biography: Stanley Clarke (born June 30, 1951) is an American bassist and composer. He was a founding member of the seminal jazz fusion band Return to Forever. He is a fifteen-time Grammy Award nominee and five-time winner. Clarke has also composed music for many films, including multiple by directors John Singleton and Malcolm D. Lee.
