Overview: The Dirty People is a dark comedy/thriller about Mia, a drug dealer from a well-off suburban past and family. Mia returns home to find that most of the people in her life are also harboring secrets just as dirty as her own. After accidentally killing a man in front of her childhood home, Mia scrambles to hide the body all while dealing with a cheating boyfriend keen to her secrets, an abusive mother, and a side piece experiencing a bad acid trip. The story is meant to be consistently suspenseful and tense, all while examining the nature of dysfunctional relationships.
