Its story is riddled with absurdity and plot holes, in equal measure. That said, its well paced fun too, with lots of over the top gun and fist fights. I will say its a shame we don't see Thomas Jane in more serious, well written roles. He's a more than decent actor. So much so, he even manages to lend a certain credibility to the seriously overcooked, Ranger character. In summary, an utterly ridiculous but nonetheless, watchable, action flick.
