Overview: Humberto de Alencar Castello Branco was the first military man to command Brazil after the 1964 military coup. "Castello, the dictator" tells how the political leader considered a moderate was responsible for installing the Military Dictatorship in the country and enabling the continuity of the regime for more than two decades. In the year in which the coup turns 60, the film brings back the memory of the dictatorship and shows how Castello Branco influenced the destiny of the country and the lives of people born in the state of Ceará who resisted the regime.
