Overview: Danish version of Kjeld Abell's successful musical comedy from 1935. Clerk Larsen loses the melody of his youth, which he had when he met his wife. His happiness and dreams have disappeared in a bourgeois existence. "It was supposed to be so good, and then it was actually bad," as one of the play's popular songs - 'The Song of Larsen' - goes. But then the quest to find the melody again begins.
