Overview: Fatima learns from Dr. Wahid Farid that her husband left her a letter before his death, informing her that he intends to commit suicide. When he goes to Khorshid Bey's house, he is surprised that he is not dead and threatens him with a gun. Wahid pulls out his gun and kills his lover's husband. In front of the police, he tells the story, that he has known Fatima for a long time when she almost committed suicide, but Dr. Wahid gave her hope and asked her to marry him.
