Overview: Postwoman Liesl is a hobby detective investigating the village of Öd, a town with a population of just a thousand. While attempting to deliver a package to a woman from Schamberg, she finds her dead in bed. According to the village doctor, Barbara, her best friend, the cause of death was a heart attack. This explanation is also sufficient for the new post commander, Magnus Tröger, and the case is closed. When he transferred to Öd, he had hoped to have peace and quiet.
