The defining aspect of this film is often visceral, violent action. That fact alone means this film probably isn't for everyone. Backing this up is a tale of organised crime, revenge and redemption, of a kind, that blends and contemporises tales of old martial Japan and the Samurai. Acting is decent too, rounding out what for me, was a worthwhile watch. In summary, is you like dark crime thrillers, with a mega ton of action and well choreographed fight scenes, with a distinctly Japanese flavour, this film is sure to please.
