Overview: A privileged, sheltered son of a politician is forced into an arranged marriage which results in a violent argument with his parents, causing him to be kicked out of the house. He experiences poverty for the first time in his life as he makes his way from Bangkok to Chiang Rai. While there, he falls in love with a local woman, but is soon swayed into delivering drugs from Chiang Rai to Jinghong, a perilous journey where he witnesses the evils of humanity.
