Overview: A sanjo gayageum has twelve strings while a harp has forty-seven. Gayageum musician Joo Bora and harpist Lee Gihwa form a duo with the aim of bridging East and West through the two traditional string instruments. In the wake of COVID-19, they prepare for their first performance together, taking a step closer to each other and gaining a deeper understanding of the differences between their musical instruments. They learn to appreciate emptiness, and then interpret it through the act of artistic giving.
