Overview: Don McFadden, an East Side gunman and member of the Gopher gang, of which Schwartz is the leader, is in love with Lola, a girl from his neighborhood. The Gopher gang throws a dance, which is broken up by a group of rival gangsters. In the fight, Lola is shot in the shoulder and taken to the hospital, where she is kindly treated by the nurse and Dr. Deering.
