Overview: After the death of his partner, Adrian experiences a serious existential crisis. He decides to walk to Santiago de Compostela to come to terms with himself and his life. Against Adrian's will, his brother Ludwig joins him on the pilgrimage. And Ernst, who initially has no intention of going, is forced to leave Vienna for a while due to a scandal he caused. At first, it is not a particularly pious pilgrimage, but in the end, they stand on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean in Finisterre, where the world seemed to end for pilgrims of earlier times, enriched by many insights and (self-)discoveries.
