Overview: The young Kamma von Ruessing has left her boarding room. She's an orphan and hopes to experience the joy of life in the home of her prestigious and wealthy uncle. Unfortunately, she soon discovers that her uncle is impoverished and can't support her. The only refuge is a noble establishment, which her mother had bought years ago. In this establishment live old ladies, who stand at the threshold of old age and are done with life.
