Overview: In 1962 while presenting Jules et Jim at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, which earned him the Best Director Award, François Truffaut shot this playful short film in 16 mm. A brief black‑and‑white sketch featuring Truffaut himself as a would-be assassin staging a comic murder in the lobby of the Hotel Hermitage. The film was rarely seen until its rediscovery and screening at MDQFF 2016.
