Overview: The bricklayer Loffe often sees sculptress Ingrid in a window a cross the building. They get to now each other and soon fall in love. Loffe works for the master-builder Swahne who is Ingrid's uncle. Swahne comes up with a plan to see if Loffe's feelings for her are true or if he is just out for her money.
