Overview: David “Screaming Lord” Sutch (1940-1999) the flamboyantly, bipolar, berserk rock singer, emerging from a coffin, armed with prop knives, axes and skulls, and belting out his song Jack the Ripper. But David Sutch was also the founder of the Official Monster Raving Loony Party and served as its leader from 1983 to 1999, during which time he stood in numerous parliamentary elections.
