The score, for instance, is effective and doesn’t sound dated like a lot of ‘B’ slashers from the 80s. (Clichéd? Yes. Dated? No). With the milieu being limited to the apartment complex (like, say, “Rosemary’s Baby”), the dramatics have to be entertaining, yet I found the characters relatively boring and the females subpar, although Laurie Lapinski is a decent protagonist. See this only if you need to see every 80’s slasher. The movie runs 1 hour, 24 minutes, and was shot in Westwood, California, which is just west of Beverly Hills in the Los Angeles area.
