Overview: On their return from a mission, three cavers- Jean-Claude, his wife Catherine and Eva - find themselves the only people left alive on earth. A chemical war has caused the death of the population and animals. The trio organize to survive. Jean-Claude and Eva die after coming into contact with corpses. Catherine, who is pregnant, escapes contamination and gives birth to a boy.
