Overview: 1950. While some people enthusiastically build a totalitarian state, others flee from it in terror. And some disappear. Just like Jarmila, the sister of doctor Marie, disappeared. Although a letter arrived from her in West Germany, it was addressed to Maruška, a name Jarmila never called her sister. At first, there is only an almost impossible-to-prove suspicion, then the intuition of a loving sister, and so Marie sets out to follow in her footsteps.
