Probably the two most difficult lessons in life are learning that one cannot love another deeper than you love yourself and that love is forgiveness. Kudos to Lee Suk-yeon for writing these lessons into a script. So I'll blame the director for the shortcoming in flow. In spite of the difficulty understanding the story in the first half(, which maybe is cultural?, ) all the pieces come together eventually. The acting and chemistry of the Kim Go-eun and Jung Hae-in is magnificent.
